The Pan-African Summit on Entrepreneurship (PSE) is a fantastic way to get involved in the Nigerian entrepreneurship community. This is where entrepreneurs from Africa meet and discuss the latest trends, opportunities, and challenges affecting businesses in Africa. The summit will be held in Lagos over two days at the Eko Hotel. It is free to attend with registration required.

Another excellent business summit in Nigeria is the Entrepreneurship Graduation Day hosted by UACN (Universities Association of West African States). The event will take place at the University of Lagos on March 12th and 13th. Here, you can meet other entrepreneurs and also graduates who have already started their own businesses.

If you’re looking for something a little more exclusive, then Startup Weekend Abuja might be a good fit for you. They host all day events that follow a very specific format: on Friday night, there’s an entrepreneur pitch session and speakers; Saturday morning features workshops, mentoring sessions and panels; Saturday afternoon has more workshops, mentoring sessions and panels; Sunday morning features more workshops and panels; Sunday afternoon has an educational program called “Startup 101” that focuses on teaching people about startups; finally, Sunday evening concludes with an award ceremony where participants are given certificates of completion.

The Birth of a Millionaire is one of the biggest business summits in Nigeria. It runs for three days, from the 26th to the 28th March 2019. The event will be hosted at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island. The theme for this year is “Navigating Your Way Through Disruptive Technology” and will have over 50 speakers giving presentations on various aspects of business as well as networking opportunities. One of the most notable speakers is Dr. Mike Adenuga, an African Billionaire and founder of Globacom- a mobile telecommunications company which has revolutionized the Nigerian telecommunication industry.

Another notable speaker is Mr. Kofi Amoah, who founded Landmark Group- an organization with interests in diversified sectors such as real estate, hospitality, manufacturing and logistics. His presentation is titled “Why was I Born Poor?”

Nigerian Young Entrepreneurs Summit

This business summit is held in Lagos and is a yearly event. It was founded by Tunji Lardner, the CEO of Tuntun Limited. The Nigerian Young Entrepreneurs Summit has been attending for over 10 years now and has given more than 1,000 young entrepreneurs exposure to a wide range of topics as well as opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs.

Lagos Innovation Week
