If you are interested in becoming a distributor for Sprite, then this blog post is for you. I’ll be giving out all the information that you need to know if your goal is to become a distributor of Sprite. Here are some tips on what should be done if your goal is to distribute Sprite in Nigeria.

First off, it’s important that you have good connections with large companies and supermarkets because they will be the ones who buy from distributors like yourself! It would also help if you had experience working as a sales rep or marketing manager before so that way there won’t be any hiccups along the way when starting up your business! Lastly, it’s important to have money saved up so that way there isn’t anything holding back your dreams

The Importance of Business Connections
Before anything, if you are going to do something like this then it’s imperative that you make good connections with companies like PepsiCo, Coca Cola, AB InBev and more. This is because these companies will be the ones supplying and distributing the various products that you need to sell. The key is to build up this network over time as much as you can.

Start by advertising your services through your online profile on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, as well as Whatsapp groups, to people in your local community. Let them know that you are looking for people who have a surplus of money, or a way to make money from their spare time, to work with them.

Understand the business of distribution
Distributors are responsible for selling to supermarkets, taverns and local stores. But it’s different in different countries. If your goal is to sell Sprite to stores in Nigeria, then the first step would be to understand how to sell and price your product for sale.

You’ll need to start by studying the market and doing a lot of research. Look at existing and nearby competitors and try to analyze the demographics and behavior of those people. It’s also important to understand the products that already exist in the market and those that are about to launch.

Understanding the Naira

If your goal is to sell in Nigeria, then it’s important that you understand the Naira. This step won’t cost you too much, it’s just a matter of acquiring some knowledge on how to make good financial decisions.

Know your goals and what you want to do
Before even looking into the options of getting a distributor license, you should understand your goals and how you will be able to reach them. Ask yourself:

Do I want to get paid for my sales?

Does my budget allow me to have and maintain a sales team?

What type of distribution licenses do I need and which ones would be best suited for my budget?

Do I have a sales team that I can afford to hire?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then it would be a good idea to go down this path!

Are you really ready to take on this new chapter?

I think this is the most important question you have to ask yourself before deciding if this is the right decision for you.

Get yourself ready for the process
Before getting into the rest of the list of things that you’ll need to do, I recommend that you get yourself ready for the marketing aspect of the game. This means that you need to get yourself organized so that when you finally get around to getting your business up and running, it won’t seem too hard. In addition, the next thing that you should do is contact different distributors in your area so that you can compare how much they’re willing to sell the drinks for. This is going to be a pretty important piece of the puzzle because as you can imagine, the person who’s willing to sell the drinks for the most money is also the one who’s willing to buy from you.

Know the legal aspects
The first thing you should do is find out the legalities involved with distributing Sprite. This means the laws and regulations that govern the industry and the channels that Sprite can distribute to. If you can’t find out about the legalities before starting your business then you should do some research and pay attention to what the other distributors are doing. You can find out about the legalities from the Consumer Protection Council or any other relevant industry body.

Submit an expression of interest

Once you’ve done the research and done some preliminary research, you should submit your expression of interest to the Lagos State Beverages Corporation. The expression of interest is a form that you fill out to express your interest in becoming a distributor.

Start up your business
•Identify a supermarket or large retailer

•Buy a crates of Sprite for your demo

•Test the product

•If you think it will sell, place an order

If you aren’t able to convince the supermarket/large retailer to buy from you, then there are other options that could be helpful in order to start up your business.

•Do a Meet & Greet

•Find a salon or spa in Lagos that will allow you to do free demos for them (they might be reluctant because they want you to sell more, and even when they buy you will have to go back and sell them later on)

•Do home demos
