✅ Who Needs a UK Transit Visa?
As a Nigerian citizen, you generally need a visa to transit through the UK, unless you meet very specific exemptions (see below).
🧾 Types of UK Transit Visas
1. Direct Airside Transit Visa (DATV)

🛂 Exemptions from Transit Visa
You may not need a transit visa if all of the following apply:

You hold a valid visa for Canada, the USA, Australia, or New Zealand, AND

You’re traveling to or from those countries, AND
-
You have confirmed onward travel within 24 hours.
