A Coca Cola distributor is a person or company who sells, markets and distributes soft drinks to retailers. If you are serious about becoming a distributor in Nigeria, this blog post will walk through the process of applying for distribution.

Application fees for available roles include N5,000 Expression of Interest Form and Non-Executive recruitment fee of N10,000

In Nigeria, there are a number of companies that pay to have their products distributed by Coca-Cola.

Distributor responsibilities
Distributor duties require proper planning, scheduling, and other logistics. Distributor must be responsible for collecting, storing and selling Coca Cola products to the retail consumer.

Coca-Cola Representative Selection Process

If you are an undergraduate or post graduate with an outstanding first class or a first class, you can qualify for Coca-Cola Representative Search. Other options are bachelor’s degree holders, MBA holders, graduates with specialization in a particular industry, or those with at least three years of work experience as an employee.

They must be committed and highly motivated to work with the Coca Cola Company. This means that you must be willing to dedicate yourself to the job.

In addition, you must be reliable and not demand additional benefits and discounts beyond the set rates.

How much does it cost to become a distributor?

As of 2018, Coca Cola charges about US$200 as a start-up fee to acquire an application. They charge an additional $200 every three months after the start-up fee.

If you have a willing friend or family member who is willing to partner with you, it may be best to apply as a team.

How much does it cost to become a distributor?
A Coca Cola distributor can make at least N150,000.00 per month. All applicants are expected to fill a 12 page form, which contains the questions you will be asked in the interview. When you apply, you will also pay the N150,000.00 to the company and the invoices will be sent to you for payment.

Preparing for the interviews

We recommend that you study the selection criteria of the Coca-Cola company. When you study the requirements, you will realize that you must have a university degree or B.Sc in any area, three or more years experience in a relevant work environment, a bank statement, the past three years tax bill, the last three years balance sheet, before they can consider you for the job.

You must have a university certificate/diploma.

You must be over 18 years old and have a valid Drivers Licence.

What is the certification process?

There is no certification process for Coca Cola in Nigeria but there is a screening process to determine if you have the skills and ability to become a distributor.

· Preferred qualification

Teacher of Mathematics or Physics, 2 years’ work experience in a warehouse

or a product manager

· English Proficient

· Experience with Warehouse or manufacturing operations, training and/or supervision

· Ability to read and interpret instructions and specifications

· Experience in distribution industry, logistics

· Experience in distribution distribution of soft drinks, specifically Coca-Cola, Sprite or Fanta (preferably in Nigeria)

· Commercial drivers license

· Non-smoker

· Able to drive a Kia Rio
