On June 5th, 2024, the Marriott Hotel Ballroom in Ikeja, Lagos, was transformed into a vibrant hub of culinary excellence and high-profile networking. Wigmore Trading, in collaboration with the esteemed Catalan government’s Prodeca, hosted the spectacular “Catalan Food Flavour Fest,” an evening that will be remembered for its luxurious ambiance and delectable offerings.

The event, graced by hundreds of Lagos’ elite influencers and celebrities, was a resounding success. Among the distinguished attendees were Wigmore Trading Directors Martin Nwike and Chris Ifeorah, who mingled with guests and highlighted the significance of this cultural and culinary exchange.

From the moment guests arrived, they were immersed in an atmosphere of sheer extravagance. The ballroom was elegantly decorated, setting the stage for an unforgettable night. A master chef, flown in from Miami, captivated the audience with live culinary demonstrations, preparing authentic Catalan dishes that tantalized the taste buds of all present. The sight of freshly cooked gourmet food paired with velvety wines from Catalonia was a feast for both the eyes and the palate.

The evening was further enlivened by a charismatic MC and a DJ spinning the hottest beats, ensuring the dance floor was never empty. The electric atmosphere had everyone dancing and celebrating the fusion of Nigerian and Spanish cultures.

Guests were also treated to opulent gift baskets filled with luxury food items, divine wines, and bubbly champagne as tokens of appreciation. These exclusive gifts added a special touch to an already magical evening, leaving attendees with delightful memories and a taste of Catalan excellence.

Wigmore Trading’s event was not just about food and drink; it was a celebration of cultural exchange, luxury, and the vibrant spirit of Lagos.
