As our development pipeline grows, we are looking for a talented Architect to join our team in Accra, Ghana to support the design and planning of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Role Overview

The Architect will be responsible for the design, planning, and development of property projects, ensuring that all designs meet functional, aesthetic, regulatory, and commercial requirements. The role will involve working closely with engineers, contractors, and project managers to bring property developments from concept through to completion.

This position is ideal for a creative and technically skilled architect with experience in residential or commercial real estate development.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Design & Planning

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed building designs for residential and commercial developments.

• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using professional design software.

• Ensure designs meet project requirements, budgets, and timelines.

Project Development Support

• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, contractors, and project managers during project planning and execution.

• Provide design guidance during construction and development phases.

• Assist with preparation of design documentation and project proposals.

Regulatory & Planning Compliance

• Ensure designs comply with local building regulations, planning requirements, and safety standards in Ghana.

• Support submission of planning applications and building approvals.

• Liaise with relevant government authorities and regulatory bodies where necessary.

Design Innovation & Improvement

• Develop modern, efficient, and sustainable building concepts suitable for African markets.

• Review project designs and recommend improvements to optimize space, functionality, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional architectural experience.

• Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design tools.

• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.

• Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on residential developments, estates, or commercial property projects.

• Knowledge of planning approval processes in Ghana.

• Registration with a relevant professional body (such as the Ghana Institute of Architects) is an advantage.
