Job Summary
Africanland is seeking a skilled and reliable CCTV Installer to join our growing technical team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV and surveillance systems across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related surveillance equipment

Conduct site assessments to determine optimal camera placement and system requirements

Run and terminate cables (CAT6, coaxial, power) neatly and safely

Configure network settings for IP cameras and remote viewing (LAN/WAN, mobile access)

Troubleshoot faults and perform repairs on existing CCTV systems
-
Test systems thoroughly and ensure they are fully operational before handover

Provide basic training and support to clients on system usage

Maintain accurate installation and service records

Comply with safety standards and company procedures at all times
Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as a CCTV Installer or Surveillance Technician

Strong knowledge of analog and IP CCTV systems
-
Familiarity with brands such as Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, or similar (an advantage)

Basic understanding of networking (IP addressing, routers, switches)
-
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively

Good problem-solving and communication skills
-
Ability to work across different locations in Lagos
-
OND, HND, Trade Test Certificate, or equivalent technical qualification preferred
