As we expand our commercial operations and partnerships across Africa and globally, we are seeking a Corporate Security & Risk Analyst to help protect the company’s interests, monitor commercial relationships, and support operational integrity across our business activities.

This role is suited for a highly capable professional who combines analytical thinking, discretion, and strong situational awareness with an understanding of business and risk management.

Role Overview

The Corporate Security & Risk Analyst will support Wigmore Trading’s efforts to ensure that business partners, contractors, and operational stakeholders operate in line with agreed commercial standards and ethical practices.

The role involves monitoring risk, conducting background checks, supporting investigations where necessary, and helping ensure the integrity of commercial partnerships.

The successful candidate will play an important role in protecting the company’s reputation, assets, and commercial relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess commercial and operational risks associated with partners, suppliers, and projects

• Conduct due diligence and background checks on potential business partners and contractors

• Assist in reviewing commercial relationships to ensure compliance with agreements and company policies

• Support internal investigations into disputes, fraud risks, or operational irregularities

• Gather and analyse intelligence relevant to business risks, security concerns, and operational challenges

• Work with internal teams to ensure business integrity and compliance across operations

• Provide reports and recommendations to management regarding risk mitigation and partner oversight

• Assist in safeguarding company assets, reputation, and operational stability

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a high-calibre and disciplined professional with strong analytical ability and a keen awareness of business and operational risk.

Candidates should ideally possess:

• A degree in Law, Security Studies, Criminology, Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field

• Strong analytical and investigative skills

• The ability to assess risk and identify potential issues in commercial relationships

• Professional discretion and strong ethical standards

• Excellent written reporting and communication skills

• A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail

Experience in corporate security, investigations, compliance, intelligence analysis, or risk management is highly desirable.
