As part of our expansion strategy, Wigmore Trading is launching an education technology platform focused on exam preparation, tutoring services, and digital tools for schools.
The goal is to improve access to quality learning resources for students, teachers, and educational institutions.
Role Summary
The Head of Education Technology will lead the development and growth of Wigmore Trading’s edtech platform including exam preparation tools, tutoring marketplaces, and school management software.
The role focuses on building digital learning solutions that work effectively in low-bandwidth and offline environments.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development
-
Develop digital learning platforms including exam preparation tools and tutoring marketplaces.

Design solutions suitable for low-bandwidth and mobile-first environments.

Build content systems for exam preparation including WAEC, NECO, and other major exams.
School & Institutional Partnerships
-
Develop partnerships with schools, teachers, and educational organizations.

Launch school software solutions for attendance tracking, fee management, and student records.
Content & Learning Services

Build a network of qualified tutors and educational content creators.

Develop structured learning materials and tutoring services.
Business Growth
-
Develop subscription models for schools, teachers, and students.

Expand distribution through partnerships with educational institutions and state programs.
Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Technology, Business, or related field.
Experience
-
7+ years of experience in education technology, digital learning platforms, or educational services.

Experience launching digital platforms or educational products.
Skills
-
Strong product development and digital platform management skills.
-
Experience working with schools, teachers, or education systems.

Strong leadership and project management capability.
