As part of our expansion strategy, Wigmore Trading is launching a telecommunications software platform focused on OSS/BSS modernisation and cloud-based network operations systems.
The goal is to help telecom operators modernise legacy infrastructure by deploying cloud-native telecom systems that improve agility, reduce operational costs, and support emerging technologies such as 5G, IoT, and MVNO services.
Role Summary
The Head of Telecom OSS/BSS Cloud Platforms will lead the development and growth of Wigmore Trading’s cloud-native OSS/BSS platform solutions for telecom operators and digital network providers.
The role focuses on building systems that modernise telecom operations including billing platforms, customer management systems, network monitoring, and provisioning tools.
This position requires a professional with strong experience in telecommunications operations systems, OSS/BSS platforms, cloud infrastructure, or telecom software integration.
Key Responsibilities
Platform & Product Development
-
Lead the design and development of Wigmore Trading’s cloud-native OSS/BSS platform solutions.

Develop systems for telecom billing, customer management, network provisioning, and service activation.

Implement container-based network services and cloud-native telecom applications.
Telecom Infrastructure Integration
-
Integrate the platform with existing telecom network infrastructure and operator systems.
-
Support deployment models for mobile network operators, MVNOs, and digital telecom providers.

Ensure systems support scalable telecom traffic and operational reliability.
Cloud & Network Modernisation
-
Develop solutions that enable telecom operators to migrate from legacy on-premise infrastructure to cloud-based platforms.

Implement tools for network monitoring, service assurance, and fault management.

Support virtualised network functions and cloud telecom infrastructure.
Business Development
-
Build relationships with mobile network operators, MVNOs, and telecom infrastructure providers.

Develop commercial models including software subscriptions, enterprise licensing, and integration services.

Identify opportunities for telecom operators seeking infrastructure upgrades.
Platform Operations
-
Build and manage teams across telecom software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and systems integration.

Ensure reliable platform performance and strong operational support capabilities.

Oversee deployment projects and customer onboarding.
Requirements
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Experience
-
8+ years of experience in telecommunications operations systems, OSS/BSS platforms, telecom infrastructure, or telecom software development.

Experience working with mobile network operators or telecom technology vendors.

Experience deploying enterprise telecom platforms or large-scale telecom software systems.
Skills
-
Strong knowledge of OSS/BSS systems and telecom network operations.

Experience with cloud platforms and container-based infrastructure.

Strong leadership and enterprise technology project management capability.

Ability to work with telecom operators and infrastructure partners.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with telecom operators, MVNOs, or telecom infrastructure providers.

Familiarity with telecom billing systems, network management systems, or customer care platforms.
