About Us
The African Land Building & Construction Training Institute (BCTI) is committed to developing skilled artisans who will transform Africa’s built environment. Our Basic Tiling & Flooring Course equips participants with hands-on expertise in modern tiling and flooring techniques. We are seeking an experienced Trainer based in Lagos to guide and inspire trainees, ensuring they gain practical knowledge and industry-standard skills.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver both theoretical and practical training on tiling and flooring.

Teach essential skills including surface preparation, tile cutting, layout, adhesive application, grouting, and finishing techniques.

Provide live demonstrations and supervise trainees during workshops and on-site practice.

Develop lesson plans, course materials, and practical assessment tools.

Ensure all training is conducted in line with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Mentor trainees, track their progress, and provide constructive feedback.

Support continuous improvement of the course curriculum.
Requirements

Proven experience in tiling and flooring work (minimum 3 years).

Previous teaching, mentoring, or supervisory experience is highly desirable.

Relevant trade certification or vocational training in tiling/flooring.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with diverse groups of trainees and foster a positive learning environment.

Willingness to support practical training sessions at project sites across Nigeria.
