We work with suppliers and manufacturers globally to bring high-quality products to African markets. We are currently looking for an organized and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Shanghai, China, to support our growing global supply chain operations.
Position Summary:
As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process from supplier to port of export. You will work closely with freight forwarders, suppliers, customs brokers, and our international teams to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant shipment of goods.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of international shipping, including sea and air freight.

Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to organize pickups and deliveries.

Prepare and review shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.

Ensure accurate HS codes, Incoterms, and compliance with import/export regulations.

Track shipments and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.

Manage and maintain logistics records, freight costs, and delivery timelines.

Resolve shipping or customs issues and delays proactively.

Work cross-functionally with sourcing and procurement teams to align shipment plans.

Support the company in optimizing logistics processes for cost and efficiency.
Requirements:

Based in or willing to relocate to Shanghai, China.

2–4 years of experience in logistics, international shipping, or freight forwarding.

Strong knowledge of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and Chinese customs procedures.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin/Chinese (spoken and written).

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, email communication, and basic ERP/logistics software.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication and coordination skills to work with both local and international teams.
