Role Overview

Wigmore Trading is seeking a talented and forward-thinking AI Movie Editor to join its creative and communications team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will combine traditional video editing expertise with AI-powered post-production tools to craft compelling brand videos, documentaries, promotional films, and social content.

This role is perfect for a creative professional passionate about visual storytelling and excited to explore how AI can revolutionize modern filmmaking and corporate media.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and produce short films, promotional content, interviews, and brand storytelling videos.

• Utilize AI-driven video tools for scene selection, color grading, animation, subtitles, and VFX enhancement.

• Develop efficient AI-integrated post-production workflows using platforms such as Runway, Pika Labs, Sora, and Descript.

• Collaborate closely with Wigmore’s marketing and communications teams to conceptualize and execute creative projects.

• Apply generative AI tools to enhance visuals, automate cuts, and optimize editing timelines.

• Ensure brand consistency and visual quality across all multimedia content.

• Stay current with AI video and editing innovations to continuously improve production quality.

• Manage digital assets, organize project files, and maintain an efficient content library.

Qualifications & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia Design, or related field preferred.

• 3–5 years of proven experience in video editing or post-production.

• Strong understanding of cinematic storytelling, pacing, and transitions.

• Familiarity with AI video generation and editing tools (Runway, Pika Labs, Synthesia, Sora, Kaiber, etc.).

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.

• Experience with automation or AI workflow integration (Python scripting, prompt design, etc.) is a plus.

Skills & Experience

• Strong portfolio demonstrating creative editing and visual storytelling.

• Excellent attention to detail, timing, and rhythm in edits.

• Ability to merge traditional editing skills with AI-based production tools.

• Knowledge of motion graphics, sound design, and basic color grading.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
