How accurate is the estimator?

It's an honest planning tool, not a design document: zone-average sun hours, standard 550W panels and a 75% performance ratio give a realistic expectation, but your roof's angle, shading, dust and local weather all move the real number. That's exactly what the free site survey measures — and the written quote that follows is based on your building, not on averages.

Does solar work in the rainy season?

Yes — panels generate from daylight, not just direct sunshine, so cloudy days produce reduced output rather than none. A properly sized system with battery storage is designed around your zone's whole year, rainy season included; that's why the estimator uses annual averages rather than the best day in February.

Can solar work together with NEPA and my generator?

That's precisely what a hybrid inverter is for: it blends solar, battery, grid and (if you keep one) generator power automatically, always using the cheapest source first. Most of our installations don't remove the generator on day one — they just make it the backup's backup, until you notice it hasn't run in months.

What does a full installation cost?

It depends on panels, inverter size, battery capacity and your roof — which is why the honest answer is a written, itemised quote after a free consultation and site survey, with equipment, installation and aftercare priced separately so you can see exactly where every naira goes. What maintenance do panels need in Nigeria?

Mainly cleaning — harmattan dust and city grime can quietly shave output, so panels want washing every few months. Beyond that: an annual system check, keeping vegetation from shading the array, and letting the monitoring app tattle if a panel underperforms. It's the lowest-maintenance power source you will ever own.
