Position Overview

The Group Chief Security & Resilience Officer (CSRO) is responsible for safeguarding Wigmore Group’s people, operations, information and strategic assets.

The role oversees enterprise security, executive protection, business continuity, crisis management, travel risk, cybersecurity governance, and operational resilience. Working across all Group companies, the CSRO ensures the organization is prepared to anticipate, withstand and recover from disruptions while maintaining the confidence of customers, partners and investors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the Group’s enterprise security strategy.
  • Oversee executive and personnel security.
  • Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Coordinate enterprise crisis management.
  • Establish travel security protocols for employees and executives.
  • Oversee cybersecurity governance in partnership with the Chief Technology Officer.
  • Conduct enterprise risk and resilience assessments.
  • Build emergency response capabilities.
  • Lead investigations into major security incidents.
  • Strengthen physical security across facilities and operations.
  • Develop resilience standards for future international expansion.

Ideal Government Background

Candidates may have served as:

Military

  • Major General or above
  • Air Vice Marshal or above
  • Rear Admiral or above
  • Commander, Special Operations Forces
  • Commander, Engineers Corps
  • Commander, Logistics Command

Intelligence

  • Senior Executive, Department of State Services (DSS)
  • Director, National Intelligence Agency (NIA)
  • Director, Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA)

Law Enforcement

  • Inspector General or Deputy Inspector General of Police
  • Senior Executive, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)
  • Executive, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)
  • Executive, Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC)

Emergency Management

  • Director-General, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA)
  • Senior Executive in national emergency planning or disaster response
