Position Overview
The Chief Strategic Partnerships Officer (CSPO) is responsible for developing and managing Travo’s highest-value commercial and institutional relationships.
The executive will establish partnerships with airlines, hotel groups, travel technology providers, tourism authorities, payment platforms, corporate clients, development agencies and government institutions to expand Travo’s reach and deliver exceptional travel solutions across Africa.
This role is central to positioning Travo as one of Africa’s leading integrated travel and mobility platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Group’s strategic partnership strategy.
- Build relationships with airlines, airports and aviation authorities.
- Negotiate partnerships with international hotel brands.
- Establish agreements with tourism boards and destination marketing organizations.
- Develop corporate travel partnerships with multinational companies.
- Expand relationships with payment providers, fintech firms and technology partners.
- Build collaborations with ministries responsible for tourism, transport and aviation.
- Identify new revenue opportunities through strategic alliances.
- Lead executive-level commercial negotiations.
- Represent Travo at major international travel and tourism events.
