Role Overview

Wigmore Trading is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Commission-Only Sales Associate to represent the company in Accra and across Ghana. The successful candidate will focus on identifying business opportunities, building and managing client relationships, and driving sales across FMCG, industrial, and commodity sectors.

This position is ideal for a self-motivated, results-driven sales professional with strong negotiation skills, a passion for business development, and in-depth knowledge of Ghana’s commercial landscape.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, and business clients across Ghana.

  • Promote Wigmore Trading’s range of FMCG, industrial, and commodity products.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms in coordination with Wigmore’s head office.

  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities and monitor competitors.

  • Manage client communications, quotations, and follow-up activities to close deals.

  • Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

  • Represent Wigmore Trading at business events, trade fairs, and networking opportunities.

  • Provide regular reports and feedback on sales performance and market developments.


Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Trade preferred.

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or trading.

  • Prior experience in FMCG, import/export, or B2B distribution is highly desirable.

  • Established network within Ghana’s wholesale and retail sectors is an advantage.


Skills & Experience

  • Excellent negotiation, sales, and communication skills.

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Twi, Ga, or Ewe is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of Ghana’s trade and logistics systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.

  • Self-disciplined, organized, and capable of managing multiple client relationships.

  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets in commission-based roles.
