This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and has a strong understanding of logistics, shipping, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vendor and Partner Development:

    • Develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s presence and attract customers in the logistics and shipping sectors.

    • Secure licenses, permits, and other requirements to operate logistics and shipping services in Nigeria.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards for all operations.
  4. Technology Integration:

    • Integrate with FedEx, UPS, and other shipping platforms to streamline logistics operations and provide customers with real-time updates.
  5. Service Optimization:
    • Monitor and evaluate partnerships to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved service delivery.
    • Gradually develop Travo’s proprietary barrel shipping business model by learning and leveraging insights from existing partners.
  6. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Prepare regular reports on vendor performance, market trends, and logistics operations.
    • Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics, shipping, or heavy machinery operations.
  • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian logistics landscape, including vendor and market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with API integrations and logistics technologies is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within Nigeria and internationally if required.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
  • Opportunities to shape and grow Travo’s logistics and shipping services in Nigeria.
  • A collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • The chance to work on impactful projects that redefine logistics in Nigeria.
