About the Role

Wigmore Trading is looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial Market Representative to lead our operations in Kaneshie Market, one of Accra’s largest and busiest markets. Known for foodstuff, provisions, fabrics, clothing, and general goods, Kaneshie is a key hub for both wholesalers and retailers. This role requires a proactive and trustworthy professional who can recruit sellers, sign up importers, and facilitate efficient order and delivery processes through Wigmore’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Orders & Deliveries: Oversee foodstuff, provisions, fabrics, and general goods orders, ensuring timely delivery to traders and customers.

• Onboard Sellers: Recruit foodstuff traders, fabric dealers, clothing merchants, and general goods sellers to Wigmore’s platform.

• Engage Importers & Wholesalers: Build partnerships with bulk food and textile importers to strengthen Wigmore’s supply chain in Accra.

• Market Presence: Represent Wigmore Trading in Kaneshie Market, offering reliable support and building trust within the trading community.

• Partnership Development: Develop and maintain long-term relationships with traders, wholesalers, and importers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Sales, agribusiness, or trading experience, particularly in foodstuff, fabrics, or general merchandise.

• Knowledge of Accra’s trading environment, especially Kaneshie Market.

• Energetic, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented personality.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Dependable and trustworthy, with a proven ability to build credibility with traders and importers.
