Role Overview
African Land is seeking an experienced and organized Property Manager to oversee its residential and commercial assets in Alexandria. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring tenant satisfaction, maintaining facilities, and optimizing property performance.
This role requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in property or facilities management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with both landlords and tenants to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.

Manage tenant relations, handle inquiries, lease renewals, and rent collections.

Supervise maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Prepare and monitor annual property budgets, expense reports, and service contracts.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for building maintenance.
-
Conduct regular property inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Assist in marketing available units and supporting leasing activities.
-
Provide regular performance, occupancy, and financial reports to management.

Ensure compliance with Egyptian property and tenancy laws.
Qualifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field.

Professional certification such as RICS, IFMA, or CIPS is advantageous.

Alexandria University – Business, Architecture, or Engineering

Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport – Business or Management

American University in Cairo (AUC) – Real Estate or Management Studies

German University in Cairo (GUC) – Engineering or Business

Comparable regional institutions such as the University of Cape Town, University of Lagos, or University of Nairobi indicate the desired standard.

Skills & Experience

4–7 years of experience in property, asset, or facilities management.

Proven ability to manage multi-tenant buildings and deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Knowledge of Egyptian real estate regulations and maintenance standards.

Strong budgeting, financial reporting, and vendor management experience.

Fluency in English and Arabic; French is an asset.

Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
