Role Overview
African Land is seeking an experienced and client-focused Property Negotiator to join its operations in Dar es Salaam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for negotiating property sales and leasing transactions, building relationships with clients, and maintaining the company’s reputation for professionalism and integrity in Tanzania’s real estate market.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong market awareness, and a track record of achieving sales and leasing targets.
Key Responsibilities

Source, negotiate, and close sales and leasing deals for residential, commercial, and land properties.

Develop and maintain a strong client base of landlords, tenants, buyers, and investors.

Conduct market research and valuations to support pricing and negotiation strategies.

Prepare property proposals, offers, and transaction documentation.

Coordinate property inspections, client meetings, and contract signings.

Collaborate with the marketing team to promote listings across digital and print platforms.

Manage client records in CRM systems and prepare regular sales performance reports.

Represent African Land professionally at industry events, exhibitions, and meetings.
Qualifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Certification or affiliation with real estate bodies such as the Tanzania Institution of Valuers and Estate Agents (TIVEA) is an advantage.

Skills & Experience

3–5 years of experience in real estate negotiation, brokerage, or leasing.

Proven ability to close transactions and manage client relationships.

Strong understanding of Tanzanian real estate laws, valuation, and documentation.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Fluency in English and Swahili is essential.

Competence in CRM platforms and online property marketing tools.
