Role Overview
African Land is seeking an energetic and client-focused Property Sales and Leasing Agent to join its Kinshasa operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing leasing portfolios, and supporting both local and international clients in securing high-quality real estate opportunities across the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
This role is ideal for an ambitious professional with a strong understanding of real estate transactions, client service, and market development in emerging urban environments.
Key Responsibilities

Market and lease residential and commercial properties across Kinshasa and surrounding regions.

Manage property listings, including digital marketing, showings, and client presentations.

Build strong relationships with landlords, tenants, investors, and developers.

Negotiate lease terms, renewals, and sales agreements in compliance with company standards.

Conduct market research to identify property trends and pricing benchmarks.

Prepare reports on leasing performance, occupancy levels, and client satisfaction.

Collaborate with the African Land marketing and legal teams to ensure seamless transactions.

Represent the company professionally at property exhibitions and networking events.
Qualifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.

Professional certification in property management, brokerage, or leasing preferred.

Benchmark universities for candidate caliber:

Université de Kinshasa (UNIKIN) – Business, Economics, or Urban Planning

Université Protestante au Congo (UPC) – Management or Finance

Université Catholique du Congo – Economics or Law

Comparable regional institutions such as the University of Nairobi, University of Ghana, or University of Cape Town demonstrate the desired level of academic excellence.

Skills & Experience

3–5 years of experience in property sales, leasing, or real estate consultancy.

Proven success in closing transactions and managing client accounts.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills.

Knowledge of DRC real estate regulations and tenancy laws.

Strong presentation and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential; additional local language fluency is a plus.

Proficiency in CRM software and digital listing tools.
