About the Role
African Land is seeking a proactive and empathetic Resident Relations & Engagement Officer to serve as the primary liaison between tenants and property management teams. Based in Accra, this role is key to enhancing tenant satisfaction, resolving issues promptly, and supporting a strong sense of community within our residential and commercial properties.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills, a service-driven mindset, and a passion for building lasting tenant relationships in a professional real estate environment.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the main point of contact for tenants regarding inquiries, complaints, maintenance requests, and service feedback.

Track and manage resolution of tenant issues in coordination with facilities, security, and administrative teams.

Monitor and report on tenant satisfaction, retention indicators, and recurring issues.

Coordinate move-in and move-out processes, including orientation and feedback collection.

Support the enforcement of lease policies, house rules, and community standards.

Plan and assist in organizing resident engagement events and initiatives.

Maintain detailed records of tenant communications, service logs, and follow-up actions.

Collaborate with leasing, billing, and amenities staff to ensure consistent communication and high service quality.

Escalate complex or sensitive matters to senior management with proper documentation.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Administration, Property Management, or a related field.

Certification in customer service, tenant management, or public relations is an advantage.
Experience
-
3–5 years of experience in tenant relations, customer experience, or property management support.

Previous experience in residential real estate, serviced apartments, or facility management settings is preferred.

Familiarity with tenant service software or CRM platforms is a plus.
