About the Role

African Land is looking for a Sales and Rental Agent to expand our real estate presence in Kolwezi and surrounding areas, with a strong focus on properties serving the mining community around the copper mines. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving property sales and rentals, managing client relationships, and ensuring seamless transactions that meet the needs of both local and international clients working in the mining sector.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Rentals

• Generate and convert leads for property sales and rentals, with a focus on housing and commercial spaces near the mining industry.

• Conduct property showings, client tours, and negotiations.

• Market properties effectively to attract both local and expatriate tenants and buyers.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, investors, and corporate tenants.

Market Knowledge and Development

• Monitor real estate trends in Kolwezi and surrounding mining areas.

• Advise clients on property values, rental rates, and investment opportunities.

Client and Transaction Management

• Support clients through the entire sales and rental process, including documentation, contracts, and compliance.

• Work with legal and financial teams to ensure transactions are smooth and transparent.

• Maintain accurate records of all sales, rentals, and client communications.

Performance and Reporting

• Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for sales and rental revenue.

• Provide regular reports and market updates to management.

• Contribute to marketing strategies and property promotions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in property sales, rentals, or real estate management.

• Strong understanding of the mining sector’s impact on housing and property demand in Kolwezi.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Customer-focused, proactive, and results-oriented.

• Knowledge of Congolese property laws and business environment.

• Fluency in French and English preferred.

• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.
