To support our expansion, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Sourcing & Logistics Specialist to join our team in Shenzhen, China.
Role Overview:
The China Sourcing & Logistics Specialist will manage supplier relationships, source products, negotiate terms, and coordinate international logistics. This person will serve as our on-the-ground representative in China and act as the key link between our suppliers and our logistics operations in Africa.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and trading companies.

Negotiate prices, terms, and timelines to meet company cost and quality standards.

Coordinate quality control inspections and ensure goods meet product specifications.

Manage logistics from supplier to port, including documentation, freight booking, and customs compliance.

Maintain accurate records of supplier data, product quotes, purchase orders, and shipments.

Monitor and track all orders to ensure on-time delivery and proactively resolve delays.

Collaborate closely with procurement and operations teams in Nigeria.

Conduct occasional visits to supplier factories when needed.
Requirements:

Must be based in or willing to relocate to Shenzhen, China.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin/Chinese (spoken and written) — essential for communication with suppliers and the international team.

Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or logistics.

Strong negotiation skills and understanding of Chinese business culture.

Familiar with Incoterms, shipping procedures, and customs documentation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain tracking tools.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
