Role Overview
Wigmore Trading is seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Commission-Only Sales Associate to represent the company in Douala and other key Cameroonian markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, building relationships with local businesses, and driving product distribution across the region.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated, results-oriented sales professional with strong networking skills and a deep understanding of Cameroon’s trading landscape.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.

Promote Wigmore Trading’s range of FMCG, industrial, and commodity products.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in coordination with the Lagos head office.

Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics.

Oversee sales processes from lead generation to deal closure.

Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to ensure seamless product delivery.

Represent Wigmore Trading at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.

Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance and client activity.
Qualifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Trade preferred.

3–5 years of experience in sales, trading, or distribution.

Background in FMCG, logistics, or B2B sales is highly desirable.

Established business network within Cameroon’s retail and wholesale sectors is an advantage.
Skills & Experience

Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.

Strong negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills.

Fluency in French and English is essential.

Familiarity with Cameroon’s import/export and logistics processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
