Job Overview

Travo Services is seeking a highly skilled and professional GPS Tracker Installer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing GPS tracking devices on vehicles, configuring and synchronizing them with vehicle tracking software, and ensuring optimal system performance. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Install GPS tracking devices on cars, trucks, vans, and other vehicles

• Configure, test, and synchronize GPS trackers with tracking and fleet management software

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, wiring, and software-related issues

• Ensure accurate real-time vehicle tracking, reporting, and data transmission

• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on installed tracking devices

• Maintain proper documentation of installations, configurations, and service reports

• Provide basic technical support and guidance to clients when required

Technical Requirements & Skills

• Proven experience as a GPS tracker installer, auto electrician, or vehicle tracking technician

• Strong understanding of GPS tracking systems, telematics, and fleet management solutions

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and work with vehicle electrical systems

• Experience synchronizing tracking devices with tracking software and backend platforms

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with mobile apps, web-based tracking dashboards, and software configuration

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work

• Willingness to travel to installation sites when required

Qualifications

• Technical certification in auto electrical systems, electronics, or related field (preferred)

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in GPS tracking installation or related technical role

• Valid driver’s license is an advantage
