Role Summary

The Head of Cybersecurity Services will lead the development and growth of Wigmore Trading’s managed penetration testing platform.

The role focuses on building standardized pentesting packages, managing a network of security professionals, and developing operational processes that ensure fast delivery, high-quality reporting, and consistent service standards.

This position requires an experienced cybersecurity professional with expertise in penetration testing, security assessments, and cybersecurity service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Product Strategy

• Develop and implement the strategy for Wigmore Trading’s managed penetration testing and cybersecurity services platform.

• Design standardized pentesting packages such as web application testing, API security testing, and cloud configuration reviews.

• Develop scalable service delivery models that ensure predictable timelines and consistent reporting quality.

Marketplace & Talent Network

• Build and manage a network of vetted penetration testers and cybersecurity professionals.

• Implement quality assurance processes for testing assignments and final reports.

• Ensure consistent methodologies aligned with industry standards.

Service Operations

• Develop operational systems for scope definition, project assignment, and report delivery.

• Implement processes that ensure secure handling of client systems and testing authorization.

• Build partnerships with compliance consultancies, vCISO providers, and cybersecurity advisory firms.

• Develop relationships with startup ecosystems, venture capital firms, and technology accelerators.

Compliance & Security Standards

• Ensure service delivery aligns with recognized cybersecurity testing methodologies and frameworks.

• Implement operational controls that protect clients from unauthorized testing or scope violations.

• Maintain strong governance and documentation standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, penetration testing, or security consulting.

• Experience conducting or managing security assessments, vulnerability testing, or red team engagements.

• Experience building or managing cybersecurity services or consulting teams.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and security testing processes.

• Experience managing cybersecurity projects and client engagements.

• Ability to build partnerships within the cybersecurity and technology ecosystem.

• Strong leadership and operational management capability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional cybersecurity certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, or similar.

• Experience working with startup ecosystems, SaaS companies, or compliance-driven security programs.
