Role Overview

African Land is seeking a motivated and professional Property Sales Associate to join its Addis Ababa team. The successful candidate will support sales operations, manage client relationships, and drive property transactions across Ethiopia’s residential and commercial real estate markets.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills, a passion for real estate, and a good understanding of Ethiopia’s emerging property sector.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and execute property sales across residential, commercial, and land portfolios.

  • Build and manage a network of clients, developers, and property owners.

  • Conduct market research, pricing analyses, and property comparisons.

  • Prepare sales materials, proposals, and client presentations.

  • Facilitate viewings, negotiations, and contract signings.

  • Coordinate with marketing teams to promote listings and attract new buyers.

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, clients, and transactions in CRM systems.

  • Represent African Land at real estate expos, events, and client meetings.


Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics.

  • Certification or membership with recognized real estate or business associations is a plus.

  • Benchmark universities for candidate caliber:

    • Addis Ababa University – Business, Urban Planning, or Economics

    • Unity University – Business Administration or Marketing

    • St. Mary’s University – Management or Commerce

    • Mekelle University – Land Administration or Urban Studies

    • Comparable regional institutions such as the University of Nairobi, University of Lagos, or University of Cape Town represent the desired academic quality.


Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in property sales, brokerage, or client service.

  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Knowledge of Ethiopian property laws, investment trends, and market regulations.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Fluency in English and Amharic required; additional languages are an asset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and online listing tools.

  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and follow-up discipline.
