About the Role

African Land is expanding in South Africa and is seeking an ambitious Sales & Rental Agent to represent our real estate business in Cape Town. The successful candidate will focus on property sales and rentals across the city and surrounding areas, serving both local and international clients.

This role is perfect for a driven, customer-focused professional who understands the Cape Town property market and has the energy and motivation to grow with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Rentals

• Generate and close leads for property sales and rentals across Cape Town.

• Conduct property viewings, negotiations, and client follow-ups.

• Build and maintain relationships with buyers, investors, landlords, and tenants.

• Market properties effectively through online platforms, social media, and direct networking.

Market Development

• Research local property trends and provide accurate advice on values, demand, and investment opportunities.

• Work with management to identify and secure new business opportunities.

• Keep property listings up to date with competitive pricing and strong marketing materials.

Client and Transaction Support

• Guide clients through the entire sales and rental process, including contracts and legal compliance.

• Liaise with legal, financial, and administrative teams to ensure smooth transactions.

• Maintain accurate client and transaction records.

Reporting and Targets

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales and rental targets.

• Prepare performance reports and market insights for management.

• Contribute ideas to marketing and growth strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven track record in property sales, rentals, or related fields.

• Strong knowledge of the Cape Town property market.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Self-driven, energetic, and goal-oriented.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency with CRM software and online property portals.

• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Cape Town.
