Role Overview
African Land is seeking an experienced and driven Real Estate Consultant to join its Abuja office. The successful candidate will oversee property sales, leasing, and investment advisory services for residential, commercial, and land assets in Nigeria’s capital city.
This role demands a confident communicator and negotiator with a solid understanding of the Abuja real estate market, strong client relationship skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales and business development targets.
Key Responsibilities

Advise clients on the purchase, sale, and leasing of properties across Abuja and surrounding regions.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.

Conduct market research, property valuations, and financial analyses.

Prepare proposals, presentations, and investment briefs for clients.

Manage negotiations, draft offers, and oversee closing transactions.
-
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote listings and generate qualified leads.
-
Maintain accurate property and client records in CRM systems.
-
Represent African Land at real estate expos, industry events, and client meetings.
Qualifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing.

Certification or membership with NIESV, RICS, or FIABCI is an advantage.

Benchmark universities for candidate caliber:

University of Abuja – Business Administration, Estate Management, or Economics

University of Lagos – Estate Management or Urban Planning

Ahmadu Bello University – Architecture, Construction, or Real Estate

Covenant University – Management Sciences

Comparable regional universities such as the University of Nairobi, University of Cape Town, or American University in Cairo reflect the desired standard.

Skills & Experience

3–6 years of experience in real estate consultancy, brokerage, or investment advisory.

In-depth understanding of the Abuja property market and Nigerian real estate laws.

Strong track record of closing property transactions and meeting sales targets.

Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.

Fluency in English required; Hausa or Yoruba is an advantage.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and online property marketing tools.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple client portfolios.
