Job Description:
We are seeking a professional and dedicated Short-Term Rental Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our short-term rental properties in Lagos. This role involves managing guest experiences, maintaining property standards, coordinating with service providers, and ensuring a seamless operation of the rental business. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Guest Management:
    • Handle all guest inquiries, bookings, check-ins, and check-outs professionally and promptly.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure positive guest experiences and reviews.
    • Resolve guest issues or complaints effectively and efficiently.
  2. Property Maintenance and Standards:
    • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with standards.
    • Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure properties are well-maintained and guest-ready.
    • Oversee inventory of supplies and amenities to maintain a high-quality guest experience.
  3. Operations and Coordination:
    • Manage and update property listings on short-term rental platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and others.
    • Monitor booking schedules, pricing, and occupancy rates to maximize revenue.
    • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote properties and attract guests.
  4. Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and expenses.
    • Handle contracts with service providers and vendors.
    • Ensure compliance with local regulations and tax requirements related to short-term rentals.
  5. Communication and Problem-Solving:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, owners, and service providers.
    • Quickly address any emergencies, property issues, or guest concerns.
    • Provide regular updates to property owners on occupancy rates and performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proven experience in property management, hospitality, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with short-term rental platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of the Lagos property and hospitality market is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software is advantageous.
