As we expand our presence in West and Southern Africa, we are seeking an accomplished Network Program Director to oversee large-scale technical projects and ensure flawless delivery of mission-critical solutions.
Role Overview
The Network Program Director will lead major network programs across Nigeria and the wider West & Southern Africa region. This senior leadership role is accountable for the end-to-end delivery of complex network solutions — from presales scoping and planning through deployment, acceptance, and customer success. The role requires strong technical expertise, strategic leadership, and the ability to manage executive-level relationships while ensuring profitability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as program lead for major regional network contracts, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery of all solutions.

Act as Wigmore Trading’s counterpart to customer C-level executives, managing expectations, contractual fulfillment, and overall satisfaction.

Oversee program governance, including project planning, resource allocation, scope changes, and performance monitoring.

Drive profitability by identifying upsell opportunities and ensuring all commitments align with contractual agreements.

Manage risk mitigation strategies and recovery plans to safeguard project success.

Lead cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver complex, multi-country deployments.

Ensure strict compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Act as a strategic advisor to senior management on network programs, delivery efficiency, and market opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree (M.Sc. or MBA) or equivalent advanced technical/management qualification.

10+ years proven experience in telecom program/project management, including large-scale, complex network rollouts.

PMP certification required (PgMP or other advanced certifications are an advantage).

Strong knowledge of telecom service delivery processes, network deployment, and operations.

Demonstrated experience in managing multi-million-dollar programs with strict SLAs.

Financial acumen with the ability to manage program budgets and profitability.

Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Willingness to travel extensively (up to 75%) across the West and Southern Africa region.
