Exclusive Details on the iPhone 13 Pro Max in Ghana

When it comes to Apple products, Ghanaians have always been among the first to buy them in bulk. But when it comes to the latest iteration of the iPhone, they may have to wait a little longer.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is set to launch in Ghana on October 19th at a price of GH¢19,000. This is about $2,900 USD. That’s significantly more expensive than most other countries where the phone is available, but given that it’s an Apple product and designed specifically for African customers who appreciate its advanced features and aesthetics, many Ghanaians are willing to pay the price tag.

There are a few other accessories that will be available with the phone. These include a silicone case (priced at GH¢3,000), a charging dock (GH¢1,500), and an earphones box (GH¢500).

These prices reflect those found in high-end retailers across developed countries such as the United States and Europe where the phone retails for around $2,000 – $2,500 USD. However, given that many people in Ghana live on very low incomes and spend a large proportion of their income on food or other necessities rather than on luxury items such as iPhones, many people feel that these prices are justified.

What are the Price Differences between the iPhone 13 Pro Max and Other Models?

The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a starting price of GH₵5,000 (US$765) in Ghana, as compared to the starting prices of US$999 for the other models. The price difference increases when factoring in other regional differences. For example, the iPhone 13 Pro Max is more expensive in Nigeria at US$1,299, while it is cheaper in Kenya at US$898.

The iPhone 13 Pro Max has a number of unique features that set it apart from other models. These include a 6.5-inch display with a resolution of 2436×1125 pixels and an A12 Bionic chip. It also includes a triple rear lens camera system with an optically stabilized lens and two ultra wide-angle lenses that can capture wider views.

Why is the iPhone 13 Pro Max Cost More in Ghana?

The iPhone 13 Pro Max, which is the newest model of the iPhone range, was unveiled in September and is available in three colors – black, blue and yellow. The phone has a A13 Bionic chipset with six cores and is water resistant up to 50 meters. It also comes with a triple rear camera setup with a super wide angle lens and two standard lenses and a TrueDepth sensor.

There are several reasons why the iPhone 13 Pro Max costs more in Ghana than other countries. Firstly, it is available only in silver or space gray color options here, which limits its potential market. Secondly, the price of the phone in Ghana includes VAT (value-added tax) of 18 percent, which is higher than the 14 percent VAT charged in some other markets. There are additional fees for customs clearance and shipping that make up part of the final cost of buying an iPhone 13 Pro Max here.

Conclusion

The iPhone 13 Pro Max was unveiled last night by Apple and we have been privy to exclusive details about the device. We can confirm that it has a price tag of GH¢64,500 in Ghana. This is an increase of GH¢5,000 from the iPhone 13 which retails at GH¢60,500.

We’re excited to share this news with our readers as it confirms rumours that have circulated for some time now. The iPhone 13 Pro Max features a new design with a larger screen and more powerful hardware under the hood. It’s bound to be popular among consumers who are looking for an upgrade over their current devices.
