About the Role

Wigmore Trading is seeking a dynamic and trustworthy Market Representative to manage our operations in Agbogbloshie Market, Accra’s largest hub for bulk food distribution. Known for grains, vegetables, yam, plantain, onions, tomatoes, and other staples, this market serves as a key supply chain center for households, restaurants, and traders across Ghana. This role is ideal for an energetic, entrepreneurial professional who can engage traders, recruit importers, and facilitate seamless order and delivery operations through Wigmore’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Orders & Deliveries: Coordinate bulk orders of grains, tubers, vegetables, and staples, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery.

• Onboard Sellers: Recruit foodstuff wholesalers, produce traders, and bulk distributors to Wigmore’s platform.

• Engage Importers & Wholesalers: Sign up large-scale importers and distributors of food products to expand Wigmore’s network.

• Market Presence: Act as Wigmore Trading’s representative in Agbogbloshie, providing hands-on support to sellers and buyers.

• Partnership Development: Build long-term, trusted relationships with farmers, wholesalers, and bulk buyers to strengthen Wigmore’s role in Ghana’s food supply chain.

Qualifications & Skills

• Sales, agribusiness, or trading experience, preferably in foodstuff or wholesale distribution.

• Familiarity with Ghana’s food supply chain, especially Agbogbloshie Market.

• Energetic, entrepreneurial, and results-driven personality.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Trustworthy and reliable, with a proven ability to establish credibility with traders and importers.
