  • Certification or affiliation with real estate bodies such as the Tanzania Institution of Valuers and Estate Agents (TIVEA) is an advantage.

  • Benchmark universities for candidate caliber:

    • University of Dar es Salaam – Business, Economics, or Urban Planning

    • Ardhi University – Land Management, Valuation, or Real Estate Studies

    • Mzumbe University – Business Administration or Marketing

    • St. Augustine University of Tanzania – Commerce or Economics

    • Regional comparables such as the University of Nairobi, University of Ghana, and University of Cape Town reflect the expected academic quality.

Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in real estate negotiation, brokerage, or leasing.

  • Proven ability to close transactions and manage client relationships.

  • Strong understanding of Tanzanian real estate laws, valuation, and documentation.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Fluency in English and Swahili is essential.

  • Competence in CRM platforms and online property marketing tools.

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism.

Personal Attributes

  • Confident, persuasive, and target-driven.

  • Ethical, reliable, and customer-focused.

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a regional team.

  • Adaptable to changing market trends and business priorities.
