Role Overview
African Land is seeking a proactive and well-organized Property Listing Agent to join its growing Northern Nigeria operations in Kano. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing new property listings, maintaining accurate data, and ensuring all listings meet the company’s presentation and quality standards.
This position is ideal for a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of Kano’s local property market.
Key Responsibilities

Source, onboard, and manage new property listings across residential, commercial, and land sectors.

Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, agents, and developers in Kano and surrounding areas.

Verify property documentation, pricing, and specifications for accuracy.

Coordinate photography, descriptions, and digital listings to ensure high-quality property presentations.

Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance visibility through campaigns and social media promotions.

Maintain listing data in CRM systems and monitor property performance metrics.

Conduct regular market surveys to stay informed of pricing trends and competitor activity.

Represent African Land at local property expos, investor meetings, and real estate forums.
Qualifications & Education

Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

Certification with a professional real estate body (e.g., NIESV, RICS, or FIABCI) is an advantage.

Comparable regional institutions such as the University of Nairobi, University of Ghana, or University of Cape Town reflect the desired academic quality.

Skills & Experience

2–4 years of experience in property listing, sales coordination, or real estate administration.

Knowledge of the Kano and Northern Nigerian property markets.

Strong organizational, communication, and client management skills.

Fluency in English and Hausa; additional languages are a plus.

Proficiency with CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
