Role Overview

African Land is seeking an enthusiastic and target-driven Property Sales Associate to join its team in Ibadan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing property sales, developing client relationships, and contributing to the company’s growth within the South-West Nigerian market.

This role is ideal for a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, local market knowledge, and a passion for property sales and client engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell residential, commercial, and land properties in Ibadan and surrounding areas.

  • Build and maintain relationships with property owners, developers, and clients.

  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, pricing trends, and investment prospects.

  • Manage sales negotiations, prepare offers, and close property transactions.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective promotional campaigns.

  • Maintain accurate client and property records in CRM systems.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.

  • Represent African Land at real estate exhibitions, open houses, and community events.


Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Marketing, or Economics.

  • Professional certifications such as NIESV, RICS, or similar credentials are advantageous.

  • Benchmark universities for candidate caliber:

    • University of Ibadan – Estate Management, Economics, or Business Administration

    • Lead City University – Management or Urban Planning

    • Obafemi Awolowo University – Estate Management or Urban Studies

    • Covenant University – Marketing or Management Sciences

    • Comparable regional institutions such as the University of Lagos, University of Nairobi, or University of Cape Town reflect the desired academic quality.


Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in property sales, leasing, or brokerage.

  • In-depth knowledge of Ibadan’s real estate market and property regulations.

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with proven closing ability.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Yoruba.

  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital marketing tools.

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple clients.
