Nigeria Cocoa beans are harvested from a divine cocoa tree that is found in the south-eastern region of Nigeria. The trees are planted on farms were they can be regularly checked for ripe pods by the farmers, who harvest them by using sharp knives to slice right around and often break off parts of the pod and roots attached to it… This Nigerian cocoa has been coveted for its supreme quality, being desired all over Europe ever since trading of goods between tribes began as early as 400BCE.
