Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Architect of the highest professional and academic caliber to join our Accra-based team. The successful candidate will lead architectural design, approvals, technical coordination, and on-site delivery across multiple projects in Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural concept design, schematic design, and construction documentation.

• Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, and fire consultants to deliver fully integrated designs.

• Prepare and review drawings, schedules, and specifications to international and local standards.

• Manage planning and statutory approvals with relevant Ghanaian authorities.

• Present designs to clients, investors, and internal stakeholders.

• Provide architectural support during construction, including site inspections and design clarifications.

• Ensure compliance with Ghanaian building regulations, planning laws, and best practices.

• Contribute to internal design standards and mentor junior team members where required.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc/B.Arch and M.Arch (or equivalent) in Architecture from a recognised, competitive institution.

• 5–10+ years of proven professional experience delivering built projects.

• Strong experience across concept, approvals, and construction delivery.

• Excellent understanding of materials, detailing, and construction methods.

Preferred Academic Background (Indicator of Highest Quality & Caliber)

Strong preference will be given to candidates educated at top-tier institutions, including:

Ghana

• Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)

• University of Ghana

International / Regional (Strong Advantage)

• University of Lagos (UNILAG)

• Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)

• Ahmadu Bello University (ABU)

• Leading UK, European, or North American schools of architecture

(Exceptional candidates from other institutions will be considered based on portfolio quality and delivery record.)

Professional Registration (Highly Advantageous)

• Registration with the Architects Registration Council of Ghana (ARCG)

• Membership of the Ghana Institute of Architects (GIA)
