Role Overview
Wigmore Trading is seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial Commission-Only Sales Associate to represent the company in Algiers and throughout Algeria. The successful candidate will identify new sales opportunities, develop client relationships, and manage trade operations in FMCG, industrial, and commodity sectors.
This role is best suited to a self-motivated, results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of Algeria’s commercial landscape and experience in international trade or distribution.
Key Responsibilities

Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, and business partners across Algeria.

Promote Wigmore Trading’s diverse product portfolio in FMCG, industrial, and commodity sectors.

Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms in collaboration with Wigmore’s head office.

Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and monitor competitor activity.

Manage client communications, quotations, and order coordination.
-
Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure efficient shipping, documentation, and delivery.

Represent Wigmore Trading at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry networking events.

Maintain detailed sales reports and performance metrics.
Qualifications & Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Trade preferred.

3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or trading.
-
Proven experience in FMCG, import/export, or commodity sales.

Existing relationships within Algeria’s trade, logistics, or distribution sectors are advantageous.
Skills & Experience

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client management skills.

Fluency in French and Arabic is essential; English proficiency is a strong advantage.

Strong understanding of Algeria’s import/export regulations and trade procedures.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Capable of working independently while managing multiple client accounts.
