Role Overview

We are seeking an outstanding Quantity Surveyor to lead cost planning, procurement, and commercial management for projects in Ghana. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on budget and with strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost plans, estimates, and project budgets.

• Produce BOQs, tender documentation, and procurement reports.

• Manage tender processes, contractor evaluations, and appointments.

• Monitor costs throughout construction and manage variations and claims.

• Prepare valuations, interim certificates, and final accounts.

• Provide cost reporting, cash flow forecasts, and value-engineering advice.

• Support contract administration and commercial risk management.

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc and M.Sc (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.

• 5–10+ years of professional QS experience on major projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods and procurement strategies.

International / Regional Advantage

• Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)

• University of Lagos (UNILAG)

• Leading UK universities in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management

Professional Registration (Highly Advantageous)

• Membership of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS)

• Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) status or equivalent
