About the Role

Wigmore Trading is hiring an energetic and entrepreneurial Market Representative to oversee our operations in Utako Market, one of Abuja’s busiest hubs for fresh produce, foodstuff, provisions, and general goods. This role is designed for a proactive and trustworthy individual who can recruit sellers, engage importers, and facilitate efficient order and delivery systems through Wigmore’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Orders & Deliveries: Manage bulk and retail orders for foodstuff, household items, and general merchandise, ensuring smooth delivery.

• Onboard Sellers: Recruit produce traders, foodstuff wholesalers, and general goods retailers to Wigmore’s platform.

• Engage Importers & Distributors: Sign up bulk food importers and large-scale distributors supplying Utako Market.

• Market Presence: Represent Wigmore Trading on-site, offering reliable support to traders and buyers.

• Partnership Development: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key traders, wholesalers, and importers to expand Wigmore’s network in Abuja.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in sales, agribusiness, or market operations.

• Strong knowledge of Abuja’s trading environment, particularly Utako Market.

• Energetic, entrepreneurial, and results-focused personality.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Trustworthy and dependable, with the ability to build credibility with traders and importers.
