About the Role

Wigmore Trading is seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Market Representative to drive operations in Dutse Market, a fast-growing hub in Abuja known for fresh produce, foodstuff, household goods, and general retail trading. This role is ideal for an energetic and trustworthy professional who can recruit sellers, engage wholesalers and importers, and manage efficient order and delivery processes through Wigmore’s platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Orders & Deliveries: Coordinate orders for produce, grains, and general retail goods, ensuring timely and reliable deliveries.

• Onboard Sellers: Recruit foodstuff traders, retailers, and wholesalers to Wigmore’s platform.

• Engage Importers & Bulk Buyers: Connect with importers and large-scale distributors who supply Dutse Market.

• Market Presence: Serve as Wigmore Trading’s representative on-site, building trust with traders and offering practical support.

• Partnership Development: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with sellers, importers, and buyers to expand Wigmore’s reach.

Qualifications & Skills

• Sales, trading, or agribusiness experience, preferably in fresh produce or household goods.

• Strong familiarity with Abuja’s trading ecosystem, especially Dutse Market.

• Energetic, entrepreneurial, and results-driven personality.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

• Trustworthy and reliable, with the ability to build credibility with traders and wholesalers.
