Role Overview

African Land is seeking an experienced and client-focused Property Advisor to join its growing operations in Dakar. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on property acquisitions, sales, and investments, ensuring excellent customer service while contributing to the company’s regional growth in Francophone West Africa.

This position suits a professional with excellent communication, negotiation, and market analysis skills, and a proven track record in property consultancy or real estate sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the purchase, sale, or leasing of residential, commercial, and land properties.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Senegal’s property market.

• Conduct property valuations, market research, and comparative analyses.

• Prepare investment proposals, sales offers, and marketing materials.

• Negotiate terms and finalize transactions in line with client goals.

• Maintain strong client relationships through regular follow-up and reporting.

• Collaborate with the marketing and listings teams to promote properties effectively.

• Represent African Land at property exhibitions, networking events, and investor meetings.

Qualifications & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Economics, or Marketing.

• Professional certifications or memberships (e.g., FIABCI, RICS, or CIPS) are advantageous.

• Benchmark universities for candidate caliber:

  • Cheikh Anta Diop University (UCAD) – Business, Law, or Economics

  • Université Gaston Berger – Management or Urban Studies

  • ISM Dakar – Commerce or International Business

  • African Institute of Management (IAM) – Business or Finance

  • Comparable regional institutions such as the University of Ghana, University of Lagos, or University of Nairobi reflect the desired academic standard.

Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in property consulting, brokerage, or investment advisory.

• Strong understanding of Senegal’s real estate laws, market conditions, and urban growth trends.

• Proven success in achieving sales or advisory targets.

• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client engagement skills.

• Fluency in French required; English proficiency is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms.

• Ability to produce accurate market analyses and client reports.
