The Opportunity

We are looking for a commercially strong Senior Minerals Sales & Trading Executive with proven experience in Ghana’s mining sector, particularly in gold and bulk minerals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with miners, aggregators, and suppliers
• Source and trade minerals such as gold, bauxite, manganese, and lithium
• Identify and manage buyer relationships
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities
• Ensure compliance with Ghanaian mining regulations
• Coordinate export and logistics processes

Candidate Profile

Educational Background

Relevant degrees include:

• Geology
• Mining Engineering
• Mineral Engineering
• Earth Sciences
• Metallurgical Engineering

Preferred institutions include:
UMaT Tarkwa, University of Ghana, KNUST, University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR).

Experience

• 3+ years in mineral sales, trading, or mining
• Strong understanding of Ghana’s gold and minerals sector
• Experience working with mining communities or exporters
• Existing network is highly beneficial

Skills & Competencies

• Strong commercial and negotiation skills
• Deep understanding of mineral markets
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks
• Target-driven and entrepreneurial mindset
