Role Overview

Wigmore Trading is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Commission-Only Sales Associate to represent the company in Luanda and throughout Angola. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing business relationships, identifying new clients, and driving sales growth across FMCG, industrial, and commodity sectors.

This position is ideal for a performance-oriented sales professional with strong negotiation skills, in-depth market knowledge, and a passion for trade and distribution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new distributors, wholesalers, and corporate clients across Angola.

  • Promote Wigmore Trading’s portfolio of FMCG, industrial, and commodity products.

  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms in coordination with the Lagos head office.

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging business opportunities and competitors.

  • Manage client communications, proposals, and after-sales support.

  • Work with logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.

  • Represent Wigmore Trading at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry networking events.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales records and market reports.


Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or International Trade preferred.

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, trading, or business development.

  • Experience in FMCG, import/export, or distribution is highly desirable.

  • Existing business relationships in Angola’s retail or wholesale sectors are advantageous.


Skills & Experience

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English.

  • Understanding of Angola’s trading and logistics systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.

  • Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets.

  • Highly organized and able to work independently.
