Job Overview:

African Land is seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our growing operations team in Lagos. This role is ideal for a professional with experience in modern plumbing systems, water supply infrastructure, and high-standard installations across residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient, safe, and durable plumbing solutions across our developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial properties
• Work on water supply systems, drainage systems, and pipe installations
• Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, and pumps
• Diagnose plumbing issues and carry out effective repairs
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for plumbing layouts
• Ensure all work complies with Nigerian building codes and safety standards
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and construction teams on-site
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, fittings, and plumbing tools
• Ability to install and maintain both basic and advanced plumbing systems
• Relevant certification (Trade Test, NABTEB, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2–5 years of practical experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with water treatment systems and borehole installations
• Knowledge of pressure systems, pumps, and water storage solutions
• Familiarity with modern plumbing technologies and materials
• Experience working on large-scale building projects
