Specify the beer and keg

Separate product supply from equipment service

Make deposits and returns clear

Ask whether the keg remains supplier property, whether a deposit applies and what is required for a refund or credit. Record keg identity and condition where relevant. Agree collection, return deadlines and the treatment of loss or damage.

Do not assume unopened or partly used beer can be returned. Any excess-stock policy should be agreed in writing before the purchase, especially for events.

Compare delivered proposals

Separate beer, packaging deposit, delivery, equipment, installation and technical attendance. Include the full Lagos address, receiving window and access restrictions in the enquiry. Urgent delivery and technical availability need specific confirmation.

If a complete draught package is unavailable or unsuitable, discuss whether bottled or canned supply would meet the venue’s needs. A change of format should be approved by the buyer rather than made silently.
