Searching for Dangote refinery supplier registration can mean two different things: supplying equipment or services to the refinery, or registering to buy its petroleum products. Establish which route you need before preparing documents. Wigmore Trading can help assess a procurement or commercial support brief, while the refinery controls its own registration and appointment decisions.

Vendor, customer or offtake partner?

A vendor sells goods or services to the refinery. A petroleum customer buys products. An offtake partner may negotiate a continuing supply arrangement. A document checklist for one route should not be represented as the complete process for another.

Dangote’s published petroleum registration page lists requirements for customers of PMS, DPK, Jet A-1 and AGO. It includes corporate, operating and financial documents. That page does not establish an open procurement tender or guarantee appointment as a supplier.

How to approach a vendor enquiry

Prepare a short capability statement explaining your goods or services, relevant experience, delivery location and contact. Ask the refinery’s official desk for the current procurement route and category-specific requirements. Verify the channel using independently obtained official contact information.

Do not treat a forwarded registration form, personal email or social-media message as proof of an authorised vendor process. Ask which legal entity is requesting information and what the submission will achieve.

Build a useful capability file

  • Company identity and authorised contact.
  • Product or service categories and technical scope.
  • Relevant project references and delivery capability.
  • Applicable qualifications, permits and quality documentation.
  • Manufacturer or principal authorisation where required.
  • Financial and insurance information requested through the verified process.

Supply accurate, current evidence. Avoid claiming certifications or completed projects that do not belong to your company. Share sensitive identification and financial documents only through the agreed, verified submission channel.

Buying fuel instead of supplying the refinery

If your aim is an offtake agreement, prepare product, quantity, delivery basis, destination and schedule. Review our bulk refinery fuel buying guide before requesting commercial terms. Registration and a letter of intent are not proof that a cargo has been allocated.

Ask the official sales channel which requirements apply to your local or international buyer category. Current availability, acceptance, pricing and contract terms must be confirmed directly for the proposed transaction.

Evaluate support providers carefully

A consultant may help organise information, clarify a scope or coordinate an enquiry. That does not give it authority to approve an application, award a contract or guarantee refinery access. Ask for the provider’s actual role and fees in writing.

This article does not claim Wigmore is Dangote’s appointed vendor-registration agent, allocation holder or exclusive offtake representative. Any specific principal relationship must be supported separately.

From registration to a commercial contract

Keep qualification, tendering, technical evaluation and contract award distinct. A registered company may still need to pass project-specific checks. Read the terms of any tender and appoint qualified advisers where obligations or risks require review.

For goods, define specification, delivery, inspection and warranty. For services, define personnel, deliverables, interfaces and acceptance. A procurement opportunity should become a clear scope before a firm price is offered.

Discuss your requirement with Wigmore Trading

Tell us whether you want to supply the refinery, source petroleum products or procure related equipment and logistics. Provide your category, destination and project stage. We can assess the support scope and explain what remains for the refinery and other authorised parties to decide.

Does registration guarantee a contract?

No. Registration, qualification and commercial award are separate decisions.
